Hey y’all! I’m Alyssa, my husband is Mike and we have two kids, Rhett and Paisley. We live on a farm and own 150 acres. We have 3 dogs, tons of chickens, goats and bunny. We’re in the process of getting cattle so I’ll talk more about that down the road 🙂 Our land is a hay farm so we get plenty of cuts and hay bales throughout the year. The goats love it and it will especially come in handy when we get cattle.

We love this farm life. After traveling around the country with my husband for 10 plus years of professional baseball we have learned to appreciate this slower pace life. Don’t get me wrong, farm life is a lot of work and there is always endless things to do around the farm but its so rewarding.

I’ve always had a passion for cooking/baking. I grew up learning to cook from my parents and grandparents and I love creating my own recipes through dishes I grew up eating. Even during all of our years traveling, there was something about having a home cooked meal whatever city we were in.
