- 5 pound pork butt
- 2 apples, quartered
- 1 onion, quartered
- 1 (2 liter) root beer
- 1 bottle (18oz) bbq sauce (I used sweet baby rays)
- In a slow cooker place pork butt, apples and onion then pour root beer over meat. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Remove apples and onion. Drain well.
- Shred pork, stir in bbq sauce and cook on low for 2 more hours.
- Serve over a hamburger bun and enjoy!!
