Pulled Pork

Ingredients:

  • 5 pound pork butt
  • 2 apples, quartered
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 1 (2 liter) root beer
  • 1 bottle (18oz) bbq sauce (I used sweet baby rays)

Instructions:

  1. In a slow cooker place pork butt, apples and onion then pour root beer over meat. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  2. Remove apples and onion. Drain well.
  3. Shred pork, stir in bbq sauce and cook on low for 2 more hours.
  4. Serve over a hamburger bun and enjoy!!
