Grilled Romaine Salad with Caesar Vinaigrette

This salad is absolutely divine!


  • 3 heads romaine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper


  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Drizzle romaine with olive oil, salt and pepper. Grill romaine for 2 minutes on each side; face down side first. Remove when romaine is slightly wilted and charred.
  3. In a small bowl whisk together all dressing ingredients; Pour evenly over cooked romaine.
  4. Garnish with more Parmesan cheese, optional.
  5. Enjoy!!
